RPR Carpentry & Building were engaged to transform a closed-off, dated floor plan into a bright and functional open-plan living space. The project involved major demolition, structural carpentry, and finishing works—creating a fresh canvas for a brand-new kitchen and dining area.
THE DETAILS

Removed internal walls separating the kitchen, dining, and laundry areas, including demolition of an old chimney

Cut a large rear wall opening and installed a steel beam to support new French doors and open the space to the backyard

Re-framed and levelled the ceiling to engineering specifications

Patched existing timber floors to seamlessly blend with new sections where walls were removed
